That year, the company’s creative director, Brandon Lesley, teamed up with Hungarian illustrator Gyula Nemeth for a new 20-card insert set called Kaboom!. Nemeth illustrated the players in a pop art style, and Panini backed his artwork with eccentric foil patterns and inserted the cards as case hits in the Panini Innovation set. Basketball collectors fell in love with Kaboom! cards, so Panini did not take long to print them for other sports, including 2018’s multi-sport checklist that gave a handful of NFL players their first Kaboom! card. Panini released the first standalone NFL Kaboom! set in 2019, and football collectors have highly regarded the rare inserts ever since.\r\n\r\nThe 2024 Absolute Kaboom! set once again offered collectors Horizontal and Vertical cards as well as Gold /10 and Green 1/1 parallels. A crucial piece of the annual hunt for rookie quarterbacks’ best cards, collectors eagerly chase Kaboom! RCs of players with the pedigree of Caleb Williams. The 2024 overall No. 1 pick, Williams got a full year of experience with the Chicago Bears last season. And with offensive mastermind Ben Johnson now guiding the team, Williams and this BGS 9.5 Kaboom! Gold parallel stamped 08/10 could make plenty of noise this year.\r\n\r\nNone of the other three examples of this card assessed by BGS have earned a higher grade.\r\n\r\nThe certification number on this card has been checked against the third-party grader's online database and is active as of 05/07/2025.","serial":"0017707477","isComplete":true,"paymentStatus":"Unpaid","listingUuid":"fc25d362-29fa-11f0-9ee6-0a58a9feac02","purchasedQuantity":0}
