The '58 Alifabolaget features a seventeen year old Edson Arantes do Nasciemento, or Pele, during a match when he scored twice against a difficult Sweden on their home pitch in Stockholm. Only continuing to improve upon this already incredible accomplishment, Pele and Brazil would go on to win the 1958 and 1962 World Cups. A total of 767 career goals later, Pele would be considered the greatest Soccer/Futbol player of all-time. A fact which we find really speaks to Pele's dominance is that in 1961 the government of Brazil declared Pele an \"official national treasure\" to prevent him from being scooped up by wealthy European clubs away from his Santos FC. As Soccer/Futbol cards continue to be looked at as premier investment pieces, it's elite examples like this which will continue to thrive. In fact, recently an Alifabolaget PSA 9 (pop five) sold at auction for a whopping $295,200. The offered PSA 6 boasts tremendous eye appeal for the grade with a beautifully preserved periphery and wrinkle free card stock.
