Presented here is one of just a half dozen '73 Topps Nolan Ryan's to have been awarded the illustrious PSA 10 designation. It's insane to think that of the 3,362 examples to have been assessed by PSA, only six have reached this elite assessment. A notoriously condition sensitive production which is well known to suffer from centering shifts and print defects. The offered stunner presents gorgeous centering with undeniable GEM MINT corners and card stock. The card presents Ryan in a wonderful 'in action' pose and is surrounded by clean borders and crisp edges. Almost entirely void of excess print with beautiful color and clarity. Nolan Ryan is arguably the most dominate pitcher in history and tops a handful of major pitching categories such as strikeouts (5,714), walks (2,795), and of course, no-hitters with seven. Nolan pitched 27 years in the big leagues and in four different decades; a stat which always blows our mind considering the fragility of power pitchers these days. This wonderful PSA 10 copy is the finest example to hit the market in nearly three years and will be hotly pursued by intelligent investors. An extraordinary offering which is deserving of the finest portfolio. Enjoy! One of over 17,000 cards, lots, and sets up for bid in our 3rd Auction of 2019.
